Over the years, we've received countless glowing reviews from campers and festival-goers alike. With a perfect 100% rating so far, here’s just a glimpse of what people are saying about their experience with us.

To see more, perhaps add your own review, click here

The very first music festivals weren't about money, they were all about bringing people together with music. We continue that tradition here at Wild Fest and are completely non-commercial.

Jamming at Wild Festivals

We aim to be affordable, to give you an option to enjoy a break without the added pressure of expensive bars and food outlets on site. With this in mind, we do not have food vendors or bars on any of our campsites.

Our campsite BBQ's

Instead you bring your food and drink with you, we've communal BBQ/Cooking areas in our entertainment area. If you like, you cook while you watch the main event and save money at the same time.

With all of the cooking in one place, all of the different smells are a tonic, as is breaking bread with neighbours/new friends and sampling delights from other grills. It's magic and an experience that is completely unique to Wild Fest.

All we ask is please have a fire blanket underneath your BBQ/fire pit for fire safety and to protect the land. If you haven't got a fire blanket there is one here for under £6.

Gas cookers and barbeques that are raised off of the ground are fine, however due to risk of fires DISPOSABLE BBQ'S ARE NOT ALLOWED ON WF SITES. Please ensure you have the right equipment to enable you to cook safely

Your safety and your enjoyment is our priority, please read the following guidelines to help ensure you have a great time and keep safe.

music festival child safety icon

Child Safety

Please ensure you have your children with you and know where they are at all times, they are your responsibility and there are dangers wherever we camp.

Do not leave the field without them, at any time.

Your children are your number one priority and our number one concern is their well being.

music festival 5ph speed limit icon

Vehicle Safety

We have a STRICT SPEED LIMIT of 5 mph as soon as you enter our camping areas.

Anybody deemed to be driving recklessly or driving under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs, will be asked to leave and will not be entitled to a refund.

Try to bring all of the food/drink supplies you need for your stay with you, however if you do need to go shopping once parked up please find a marshal to lead you out.

music festival medical icon

First Aid/Medical Issues

For any minor medical issues please contact a marshal to notify our onsite first aiders for treatment.

In an emergency ring 999 immediately and then seek immediate assistance from a marshal.

music festival security icon

Welfare/Safety

Should you be concerned about the welfare and safety of you or anyone else, immediately contact security, a marshal or go to the main stage for assistance.

music festival fire icon

BBQ Safety

Depending on weather conditions please ensure you speak to a marshal prior to lighting a BBQ.

In the case of severely dry weather and increased fire risk, we reserve the right to ban solid fuel BBQ's and fire pits on our sites.

This is not to ruin your fun, just to ensure that everyone stays safe.

All BBQ's and firepits must be raised off of the ground and have a fire blanket underneath them.

NO DISPOSABLE BBQ's ALLOWED

We've a small selection of businesses here that have been extremely helpful to us over the years, some even offer discounts to WF members and that's why we consider them partners. They're not listed here for our financial gain, but because they are run by good reliable people.

They've the same strong morals as Wild Festivals and we simply trust them to provide a top service in all they do.

Just click on a logo to visit their website or page.

bmw specialists

Honest work, a company you can trust and at reasonable prices, not easy to find in this day and age.

Van Parts

Music is what we do here at Wild Fest and the reason we do it.
We're always interested in hearing from talented musicians, bands and DJ's.

music festival band playing

Whether you want a slot in the main event, take part in Thursday's DJ party night or you'd like to come along and perform at the jams around our fire pits of a night time, we'd love to hear from you.

music festival band playing

We have a deep passion for providing quality up and coming young artists, bands and DJ's with a platform to perform and showcase their talent. It's not just cover bands we're interested in, we love to hear original artists and would love to hear from you.

If you're interested in applying to perform, please message us with a link to a video of a live performance.

We'd love to hear from you, get in touch

We're always on the look out for workshop hosts and good marshals to join our fantastic team.

Workshop Hosts

We love to provide something different for people to enjoy when they stay at one of our sites. We're looking for individuals with talents/skills and workshops that they can bring along to add to what we do.

In return for 2-3 x 1hr workshops, we will be happy to give you free passes to the entire event that you're coming to.

If you have something you believe could put a smile on faces, please get in touch

Marshalling

Our marshalling team is one of the best there is, we've been working/touring together for many years and we're like a big family.

We are always keen to hear from people that would like to represent Wild Fest, join the team and help with parking duties at our events.

You will need to perform 4 x 3hour shifts and in return/upon satisfied completion, you will get a refund of your ticket money.

Please note there is a lot of walking involved so you will need to be fit, healthy and willing to work hard. You will not be able to drink alcohol whilst on shift and must expect to work any shift times given to you.

If you are a single parent, we cannot consider you because the child/children would be left unsupervised.

Please do get in touch now if you would like to join us.

We're often asked why did you set up Wild Festivals, so we thought we'd write a bit about it.

The Why

For a music loving family like ours, there was nothing like it out there during the school holidays and anything suitable was far too expensive/out of our reach. We wanted something different, something safe and more along the lines of a traditional small festival. We wanted something that was on for longer than a weekend, allowed us to travel the UK a bit and to be within reach of the average working family.

In 2016 we did something about it, we didn't expect it to become what it's become but we couldn't be happier with the beautiful little community that's evolved.

We're proud of Wild Festivals and love it, hopefuly you'll love it too..

The How

We posted on facebook looking for likeminded people/families to join us camping somewhere wild, just to sit around a camp fire, play guitars and chat into the early hours.

Wild Festival Chat Group was born and amazingly we had over 500 people join in the first week.
We were all looking for exactly the same thing as us and the new group was absolutely buzzing!

Ashlyn Farm Lincolnshire

Then a lovely member offered us use of her field on Ashlyn farm in Lincolnshire, on one condition that we were to use the field before it waterlogged.

Big bonfires at Ashlyns farm

This meant if we were to do it, we only had 3 weeks to put it all together!
So with no money, no experience and being completely reliant on everyone being volunteers, we agreed.
I mean, how hard could it be?

Big bonfires at Ashlyns farm

Well it wasn't easy at all, there were a few grey hairs along the way, but it was worth every one for the incredible, spine tingling event we had.

We had some excellent musicians turn up and nearly 300 people attended.

We met and made some great friends that weekend, we quickly realised we'd found what we'd been looking for.
we couldn't wait to do another one.

Big bonfires at Ashlyns farm

After three more festival style campouts, it became apparent we'd found our calling.

We've grown massively over the years, but our ethos of providing affrodable fun and camping breaks in nature hasn't changed.

Dinosaur attacks festival goers

We now offer 6 school holiday pop up camping events, in 6 beautiful locations throughout Spring and Summer.
We've got lots of members in our super friendly facebook chat group, a real mix bag of age groups, lovely people and friendly dinosaurs.

We've been blessed to have such a great bunch of welcoming, sharing, helpful and friendly people join us over the years.

A Wild Festivals band playing in North Yorkshire

We've got a massive catalogue of brilliant musicians, bands, entertainers and artists, with hand picked pop up campsite locations that are truly lovely places to stay.
On top of all of this we've got entertainment programs for all ages to enjoy.
Children actually leave electrical gadgets in the van or tent here! It's really nice to see.

People at Ashlyns farm

We're very proud and passionate about Wild Festivals, after a humble start we've grown into a firmly established, family favourite and a real camping community.
Wild Festivals has created thousands of new friendships, relationships, partnerships and even some marriages.

It's truly an amazing thing

If you haven't been yet...

We'd love to meet you.

We get asked all of the time, how do we cope without electric hook up? How do we keep food/drink cold and keep warm of a night, so we decided to write these guides to help you.

You don't need to stay at expensive campsites, because you're in a tent or rely on costly electric hook ups for heat and power? It doesn't cost that much to be self sufficient now and be free to choose where you camp.

Just for added clarity, we are an affiliate for some of these companies and may take a small commission from any purchase. This goes towards helping us pay to keep these pages hosted and updated.

It quickly became so much more with over 20,000 active members.

Click here to join our chat group on facebook

The chat group is still the main hub for our members/campers and many friendships, even relationships have started off there.

Join up, chat, ask questions and become part of the community before you arrive.

We Hope to welcome you here soon
