Festival cardboard box soapboat race

Soapboat Race

Think famous energy drink soap box race and put it on the water. Are you a cardboard gaffer tape boat building engineer? Will your craft win or will it all end in disaster and disappointment? We'll find when our contestants race their creations in our lake.

Anyone wishing to participate will need to join us in the marquee from prototype build day (30th May) and will need to be available for all build days.

All building equipment and 7,350 meters of gaffer tape supplied.

The Kayak Race

Staffs plays host to the legendary WildFest North vs South Kayak Race! Can Team North – T'Mushy Peas – claim victory again, or will the mighty River Gods from the South rise up and take the trophy back?

The race begins 3PM Wednesday 2nd June. Expect regional rivalry, outrageous tactics, questionable sportsmanship, and huge laughs. Pick your side, bring the noise, and get ready for one of WildFest’s most chaotic traditions. Will you make the difference… or cheer from the banks?

No need to pre-book, just advise the gate staff where you want to be when you arrive.

Family Glamping Sanctuary General Solo's Party

Family Camping

NO NOISE – 9pm – 9am

Perfect for families with children, this area is set away in a quieter spot so little ones can settle down easily at bedtime.

You’ll be surrounded by other parents too, making it a relaxed place to unwind.

Gather around the firepit, share stories, & enjoy time with friends — old & new.

Glamping Zone

NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC – 11pm – 9am

If you’re lucky enough to have one of our Posh Belles glamping pods for the event, you’re in for a treat.

This is a balanced family & general zone where you can meet new friends, relax with neighbours, & still enjoy the festival atmosphere.

Please be considerate: keep noise at a reasonable level & respect those around you.

The Sanctuary

NO NOISE – 9pm – 9am

Love the atmosphere, but want to get away from it all when you've had enough?

This area is usually a walk away from the late-night buzz, giving you the perfect spot to rest & recharge for another full day at the festival.

No music, children or reactive dogs here please.

General Camping

NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC – 11pm – 9am

This is the heart of the campsite, perfect for those of you that want to be close to the entertainment.

A lively yet balanced zone where you can meet new friends, relax with neighbours, & enjoy the festival atmosphere.

Please be considerate, keep amplified music at a reasonable level, & respect those around you.

Solo's Camping

NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC – 11pm – 9am

Perfect if you're arriving on your own, or alone with children?

This welcoming space is perfect for meeting fellow solo adventurers or parents & making new festival friends.

It’s the same rules as the general zone – be respectful & kind to other arrivals.

Party Zone

NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC – 11pm – 9am

If you're here for the late nights & campsite festival energy, this is the zone for you.

Guitars, acoustic instruments, singing, talking & probably cackling laughter are to be expected at any time here.

No drumming or amplified music after 11pm please.

Wild Festivals Riva the dog smiling

Always Free

We know your pet’s part of the family, and let’s be honest, they probably enjoy a good getaway more than you do.

Friendly, well-behaved pets are more than welcome to join the fun at no extra cost. All we ask is that they’re kept on a lead, picked up after depositing, and under control while on site.

Be kind to your fellow campers, keep any barking along to the music to a minimum, and please don’t leave them unattended.

Glamping at WF

No camper or tent of your own? No problem!
Our friends at Posh Bells now offer a fabulous deal on their glamping tents at all of our campsites.

Prices range from £227 for the whole duration, or length of your chosen stay.

Make your festival experience even more unforgettable. Enjoy luxury, comfort, & a cosy retreat amidst the Wild Festivities.

Add a glamping pod to your booking from 01/10/2026.
